Mega Swachhata Drive by NSS Unit -I &II.
A one-day NSS camp was organized under Mega Swachh Drive at Government College for women, Gohana today. The volunteers from two units enthusiastically participated in the camp. The main objective of the camp was to collect garbage and solid waste from the surrounding areas outside the College and in the college campus. The girl students collected the garbage lying near the square intersections through Shramdaan, making the public aware from the college premises and outside. The Principal of the college, Mr. Satish Kumar made the students aware by telling them about the importance of cleanliness. Program Officer Mrs. Neeraj Dahiya and Priyanka directed the students that each student should collect at least 2 kg of waste. The garbage and solid waste were collected and disposed off through Gohana Municipality.
